Early prediction of ICANS using CRS characteristics in B-cell lymphoma patients receiving CAR-T therapy
Last Updated: Friday, October 16, 2026
Researchers analyzed data from 154 patients with B-cell lymphoma who were treated with CAR T-cell therapy and who developed immune effector cell–associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS) after cytokine release syndrome (CRS). They used these data to create a predictive model that stratified patients into low-, intermediate- and high-risk groups for development of ICANS, concluding that early CRS characteristics may help identify patient risk of developing ICANS.
